Join us as our new Research Associate in Household Care

Right now, we are looking for a motivated Research Associate to join our application team, focusing on developing innovative biological solutions for a growing detergent industry.
 

Welcome to Household Care - Applied Research

In this role, you will be part of our application research team, collaborating with a dedicated group of experts working on enzyme solutions for detergents. Your daily work will take place in Bagsværd, and will be dynamic and diverse, with tasks being shared across the entire team. We place a strong emphasis on digitalization and automation, so experience or an interest in data processing and the use of digital tools will be highly beneficial.
You will participate in planning and conducting laboratory experiments, as well as using statistics and digital tools to analyze and draw conclusions from complex data. You will learn about the chemistry of detergents and how it affects enzyme activity. Furthermore, you will be involved in developing new assays and visual demos that explain the value of our enzyme solutions to our customers, and ultimately to consumers. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where each day brings new challenges – all this in a team that supports each other.
 

In this role, you will make a difference by:

• Actively planning, executing, and concluding practical laboratory experiments.

• Developing and implementing scaled-down assays and analytical methods to support projects.

• Collaborating both within and outside the department (we work closely with other research teams, technical support, and marketing).

• Cultivating and improving our digital tools and automation capabilities.

• Contributing to a well-functioning work environment in the department, where mutual trust and respect are paramount.
   

Potentially relevant experience:

• A laboratory technician education (or equivalent) is a requirement for this position.

• Work experience in applied research is an advantage.

• Experience and/or interest in data handling/analysis, automation and digital tools.

• Knowledge of enzymes/proteins is an advantage but not a requirement.

• You are a team player and take responsibility for our common goals.

• You enjoy varied tasks and can communicate in English both written and spoken.
