Position Summary:

The Bioanalytical Development group seeks a highly motivated Research Associate II to provide Bioanalytical and Biomarker method development in support of the Translational Research team as well as programs in non-clinical and clinical development. We develop, transfer and/or validate bioanalytical methods for quantifying biotherapeutic proteins, biomarkers, and anti-dug antibodies in both regulated and non-regulated environment. Our data and expertise enable characterization of immunogenicity, pharmacokinetic, and biological activities of company’s biotherapeutics during all phases of drug development.
Work Model:
Core Lab & Ops: This role typically requires that the majority of the work be conducted on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting bioanalytical and biomarker method development, qualification and technology transfer activities in early phase of non-clinical and clinical development programs.
- Develop and perform assays to characterize the immunogenicity and pharmacokinetic (PK) properties of biotherapeutic products.
- Develop and perform other biological assays including biomarker and cell-based assays to support non-clinical research and early phase development.
- Responsible for tech transfer, bioanalytical assay validation in collaboration with other groups or contract labs.
- Data report/presentation to internal and external collaborators.
- Write/review documents such as sample analysis plans, method development reports, validation protocols/reports, and sample analysis reports.
- Ensure that bioanalytical activities relating to regulatory commitments are supported with quality data and in the time expected. Contribute to writing regulatory documents as needed.
- Evaluate new analytical technology and work on multiple projects.
Requirements:
- RA II: MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Immunology, or equivalent with 0-2 years of related experience; or a BS with 2-4 years of related experience
- Experience developing and qualifying ADA, PK, NAb and biomarker assays
- Experience in a broad range of protein techniques including Western, ELISA, multiplexing platforms such as MSD/Luminex, protein expression, PCR, antibody development/characterization
- Demonstrate independence at the bench and ability to work collaboratively on projects
- Some experience with data management systems, familiarity with data and statistical analysis software
- Position requires excellent organizational skills and time management to meet deadlines in a fast-paced organization. Ability to multitask and work on diverse projects is an advantage
- Familiarity with regulatory and industry guidance documents including requirements for GLP bioanalytical assays
Physical Demands/Work Environment/Safety Considerations:
- Stand for extended periods of time with periodic stooping/bending / kneeling.
- Able to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs.
- Climb ladders and stairs of various heights.
- Work in a lab environment requiring special protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet, and body. This role requires the ability to wear personal protective equipment.
- Certain tasks may require use of a respirator; medical clearance will be required in advance. #LI-CS1 #LI-Onsite
The typical annual salary range for this full-time position is listed below. This range reflects the characteristics of the job, such as required skills and qualifications and is based on the office location noted in this job posting. The range may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This position is eligible for annual bonus and equity incentives. Actual individual pay is determined by demonstrated experience and internal equity alignment.
Pay Range
$83,100—$102,700 USD
