Research Associate II - Protein Characterization

Position Responsibilities:

• Data collection and analysis in a timely manner to meet project timelines.

• Documentation of data in electronic lab notebook.

• Assistance with maintenance of instrumentation.

• Possess good written and verbal communication skills. Interact positively and productively with manager and colleagues.

• Able to learn new processes and procedures and adjust to fluctuations in workload. Able to react to change productively. Seeks out opportunities to learn new information.

• Collaborate with multiple teams to meet site wide goals.

• Adheres to all safety requirements and follows safe procedures and attends all required safety trainings.

• Great attention to detail in a multitasking environment to ensure accuracy.

• Able to maintain organization of space, documentation, and materials to ensure smooth workflow and tracking.

• Experience with HPLC, mass spectrometry, and/or capillary electrophoresis a plus.

Position Requirements:

• BS degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related area (or equivalent training) with 0-2+ years' experience OR MS degree in chemistry, biochemistry or related area (or equivalent training) with 0+ years’ experience. 

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
