Overview
ISS STOXX is seeking full-time Research Assistants for the upcoming Korean Annual General Meeting season in 2027. This position will be based in Tokyo and would run early February to end of March 2027.
Responsibilities
•Collect data and perform corporate governance and financial analysis to issue proxy vote recommendations for shareholder meetings of publicly listed companies in Korea;
•Work independently and collaborate with the team to produce research reports under strict timeline;
•Handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment;
•Engage with company representatives, if needed.
Qualifications
•Economics, finance, business, law, or political science preferred but ALL disciplines are welcome;
•Capacity to learn quickly and execute accurately;
•Goal-oriented, detail-oriented, analytical, self-driven and a true team player;
•Possesses a keen sense of judgment and organizational skills;
•High proficiency in Korean and English;
•Proficient in the use of web-based and Microsoft Office applications
•Amenable to shifting working hours during the 2 month’s contract (10 am- 5pm, JST in February 2027 then transition to 1pm- 10pm, JST by March 2027)
