Research Analyst
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Monitor Indian corporate/macro news, sentiment and material catalysts
- Provide daily reports and commentary on themes relevant to our trading strategies
- Maintain constant expertise of Indian market structure, companies, economy and politics
- Collaborate with traders on strategies across market-making and position taking
- Assess impact of various corporate actions and upcoming events on pricing
- Communicate with other IMC Analysts across EU, US, Asia on trading research and strategies
- Perform analysis of covered companies to provide forecasts of dividend stream
Your Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree or higher in Economics/Finance/Business OR STEM from a Top University
- Bachelor's with a CA or CFA qualification would also be sufficient
- Between 3 to 5 years of experience in financial markets, with an interest in equities
- Experience with Excel is necessary; Python/R/VBA is a plus
- Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills supported by natural curiosity
- Basic knowledge of Major Large-Cap Indian equities is essential
- Macro/X-Asset exposure a plus
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Skills to contribute and communicate in a team environment are essential
- Options knowledge including understanding of the Greeks is a plus
