As a Requirement Engineer, you will be responsible for:


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in software, electrical & electronics, computer science, automotive, or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in developing solutions for the transport industry, with a preference for Class 8 HD trucks.
  • Understanding of vehicle software and hardware architecture.
  • Familiarity with heavy-duty truck systems, software architecture, and diagnostic protocols ISO14229 is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in data extraction, analysis, and automation for engineering solutions.
  • Knowledge of reliability principles, methodologies, and tools such as FMEA, RCM, and fault tree analysis is desirable.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist Requirement Owner in breaking down and allocating maintainability requirements to solution areas.
  • Monitor the verification and validation of concepts/solutions from a maintainability perspective through close collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams to support product development and select technical solutions aligned with maintainability requirements.
  • Conduct packaging and accessibility studies using computer-aided design tools, with preference given to PTC CREO.
  • Perform cost analysis to develop product and technology business cases, optimizing for maintainability.
  • Analyze vehicle maintenance data to identify trends, patterns, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.



Salary Range: $70,000-$75,000 

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
