Stand up for reproductive rights! Help build support for Planned Parenthood
Advocates of Michigan!
Despite relentless attacks on reproductive rights, Planned Parenthood is committed to
protecting and expanding access to reproductive health care. We are running a
grassroots campaign on behalf of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan,
engaging communities and providing opportunities for people to support reproductive
rights at the local level.
We are hiring immediately for short-term and long-term positions, with possibilities for
advancement.
Responsibilities:
● Engage with the public in a friendly and professional manner
● Sign up contributing members for Planned Parenthood
● Participate in staff trainings to improve your fundraising skills
The ideal candidate:
● Is passionate about reproductive rights
● Has strong verbal communication skills
● Is resilient and able to remain motivated in the face of challenges
● Is eager to learn new skills and receptive to feedback
Prior sales/fundraising experience is a plus but not required.

What We Do
Surround Sound Outreach is a grassroots advocacy and campaign-services organization that helps nonprofits and social movements build power around progressive causes. It designs and executes fundraising campaigns, provides targeted membership support, and conducts voter-registration and voter-engagement efforts. Its stated focus includes reproductive rights, climate action, racial justice, and ensuring underrepresented communities have a stronger voice in elections and public life.
