About the RoleWe’re looking for a Reporting & Data Visualization Specialist to join our team. This role is focused on execution: building, maintaining, and automating reports and dashboards using Looker and Looker Studio, SQL, and internal platforms. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and actionable.

Our office is located in Berkley, MI, local candidates preferred.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Looker Studio.
- Translate business requirements into clean, usable reports and visualizations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot report performance and accuracy.
- Automate recurring reporting workflows to improve consistency and speed.
- Communicate with stakeholders to clarify needs and deliver reporting solutions.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to design, troubleshoot, and optimize reporting and data visualization solutions across internal systems.
- Document report logic, processes, and usage for transparency and handoff.
- Partner with product, engineering and internal teams to support reporting inside our platforms.
- Performs other related tasks as assigned.
- 1–3 years of experience in reporting, data visualization, BI, or related work.
- Solid command of SQL and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with Looker dashboards (or similar visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Ninjacat).
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT), including effective prompting, to enhance productivity in reporting, SQL development, and process documentation.
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivots, automation).
- Ability to gather reporting requirements, define data needs, and translate into clear visual outputs.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable turning requirements into repeatable reporting outputs.
- With a desire to help drive the success of our organization, the ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organized, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to LookML or data modeling
- Familiarity with creating data sources and dashboards in Looker Studio
- Experience automating workflows through scripting or tooling
- Familiarity with Adtech/Martech reporting
