Under the supervision of the Replenishment Manager, proactively monitor, analyze, and optimize product inventory levels - spotting trends, identifying gaps, and adjusting replenishment strategies to stay ahead of demand. Dive into forecast and performance reports to uncover insights, correct discrepancies, and continuously refine both analytical processes and inventory planning for stronger, more efficient outcomes.
Please Note: This position is a hybrid role, involving on-site work each week at our Distribution Center in Oakley, CA. Candidates who are fully remote or outside of reasonable commuting distance will not be considered at this time.
Responsibilities:
- Review and maintain store levels in a limited number of categories on an ongoing basis as well as limited duration projects and promotions.
- Monitor and respond to store communications regarding adjustments in assigned categories.
- Monitor, analyze, and report product inventory levels, identifying deviations from projections and altering replenishment plans.
- Participate in all relevant meetings, providing input on replenishment subjects.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of related retail and/or replenishment experience - pet industry is a bonus!
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Inventory Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- Strong analytical, data-driven skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear and effective communication skills; able to express ideas and information in a clear, concise, logical and persuasive manner verbally and in writing and adapt to the needs of diverse audiences and/or complex situations; listens actively and encourages an open exchange of ideas and different points of view.
- Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and accuracy; able to effectively plan, manage and prioritize detailed projects/work with competing deadlines, instinctually follow-up and provide progress updates.

The salary range for this position is expected to be $29.00 - $31.50 per hour. Pet Food Express determines starting salary based on many factors, including but not limited to, local market rate, the qualified pool of candidates, internal compensation practices, a candidate’s actual skills and experience.
