Summary:

The Repack/Embalage is responsible for building shipping containers and repacking parts for customers within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on material handling role that requires being on your feet for the majority of the shift; while forklift operation experience is required to support daily tasks, this position is not a dedicated forklift driving role. The ideal candidate has working computer knowledge, basic math and problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic to keep pace with production demands.

Awareness of and follows MST’s Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety policies. Maintain a clean and safe working environment: Open Door Policy – Solves issues with two-way, open, and friendly communication. 5S – Maintains and promotes good housekeeping by following the philosophy “Everything has a place. Everything in its place”.

Crate Building – Build wooden crates (approximately 300 per day) used to ship parts to customers.

Repacking – Repack parts into customer-branded packaging according to specifications.

Quality Check – Inspect crates and packaging for quality and compliance with customer specifications before shipment.

Material Handling – Handle various parts and packaging materials throughout the shift.

Teamwork – Work collaboratively with other Material Handlers to build larger crates (some up to 6 feet in length) and meet daily production targets.

Forklift Operation – Operate a forklift as needed to move materials within the work area. Note: this position requires forklift experience but is not a dedicated forklift-driving role.

Label Printing – Use basic computer skills to print shipping and packaging labels.

Problem Solving – Apply basic math and problem-solving skills to complete daily tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Perform any and/or all other duties as assigned.
