Remote Senior Accountant - US CPA

ABOUT THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

WIN is looking for a US-Certified CPA to lead accounting and financial reporting, tax compliance, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working with US-based companies and a deep understanding of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and financial processes. This is a remote, full-time position based in India, working closely with India and US teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Oversee month-end and year-end close, ensuring accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with US GAAP.
2. Diligently manage monthly accounts receivables and revenue collection.
3. Supervise bookkeeping, ensuring financial records are accurate and audit ready.
4. Perform cost analysis, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for savings.
5. Work closely with US-based external tax and audit accounting firms to optimize deductions, credits, and financial strategies. (Note: No direct tax filing responsibilities.)
6. Ensure internal financial controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
7. Develop and present financial models, forecasts, and reports to leadership, helping align financial planning with business goals.
8. Support budgeting and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Valid US CPA license, or CPA exams cleared with licensure in progress.
2. 5+ years of experience in US accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.
3. Strong knowledge of US GAAP compliance standards.
4. Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, or similar accounting software.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Comfortable working remotely and coordinating across US and India time zones.
