Remote, Contract-based Florida Probate Administration Paralegal Opportunity – 10+ Hours/Week

We are a national network of experienced, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals who provide remote, on-demand support for both short-term and long-term legal projects for our client law firms.
Due to increased demand, we are now interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Florida Probate Administration Paralegal.
Remote work hours will vary, but are expected to be approximately 10+ hours per week.
Paralegal Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of law firm paralegal experience
- Strong Florida probate administration experience
- Experience with trust administration and trust accounting
- Strong knowledge of Florida probate procedures, deadlines, notices, and court requirements
- Ability to independently manage probate and trust administration files
- Comfortable communicating directly with clients to gather information and provide updates
- Experience preparing and filing probate-related documents
- Strong calendaring and deadline-management skills
- Self-directed and comfortable researching issues independently
- Personable, inquisitive, and quick to learn
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Litigation experience preferred
- Guardianship experience is a plus, but not required
- Looking for a long-term, ongoing opportunity with capacity for substantial work
Our Paralegal pay rate starts at $30/hour.

Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience
- Strong experience with Florida probate administration
- Experience handling formal and summary administration matters
- Experience preparing probate petitions, notices, orders, and other court documents
- Familiarity with Florida probate procedures, court rules, and filing requirements
- Experience with probate court filings and deadline management
- Ability to gather and organize estate, asset, creditor, and beneficiary information
- Experience communicating with clients, beneficiaries, courts, and other parties
- Strong drafting and document preparation skills
- Excellent organizational and case management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Dependable, responsive, and able to work independently
