RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Develop precision maintenance standards for pumps, fans and other rotating equipment and work with planner to integrate these into the work plans as well as preventative maintenance plans.

Execute and share A3's (smaller scale RCA's) and One-Point Lessons to communicate learnings from these to the maintenance team as well as the production team in order to share these learnings.

Originate and develop analysis methods to determine the reliability of components, equipment, & processes.

Acquire and analyze data. Prepares diagrams, charts, drawings, and reports to define reliability problems and make recommendations for improvements.

Conducts an analysis of reliability problems and investigates to determine the required reliability approach for the particular situation, with consideration given to cost limitations for equipment uptime/downtime, repair/replacement costs and availability of materials/equipment.

Recommends and executes Capital Engineering projects as needed based upon analysis of reliability issues.

Determine cost advantages of alternatives and develops action plans that comply with internal/external customer demands for reliable processes/equipment to avoid failures.

Works with maintenance team and storeroom to develop and maintain equipment bill of materials and stock levels
REQUIREMENTS
-
Associate’s degree in engineering or 10+ years of relevant mechanical experience with demonstrated technical achievements and increasing levels of responsibility.
-
Minimum 5 years of industrial experience required.
-
Experience using CAD software (AutoCAD LT or equivalent) for creation and updates of engineering drawings preferred.
-
Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
-
Excellent people collaboration skills and approachability.
-
This individual must have the ability to convey communications clearly and concisely.
-
Demonstrated leadership skills and teambuilding capability.
-
Experience with six sigma and total productivity management are benefits for this position.

Proficiency in computer use and business software applications (e.g. SAP, Powerpoint, Excel, Word) required.
