As a Reliability & Design Engineer you will be responsible for optimizing and continuously improving the maintenance process to achieve top performance in maintenance activities. The role also involves active participation in the design and execution phases of engineering projects.
Key tasks:
- Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations and evaluate production processes and equipment to prevent injuries, spills, and other EHS-related issues.
- Support root cause analysis and implement preventive actions related to equipment breakdowns in collaboration with Production, Process, and Technical teams. Monitor the implementation of these preventive measures.
- Enhance preventive maintenance by creating machine data sheets for KBC equipment and developing Maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on PPG standards.
- Assist the Maintenance Team in optimizing the use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including data sheets, P&ID, electrical documentation, and spare parts management.
- Analyze Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and failure data to improve equipment reliability, reduce Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and optimize costs.
- Lead equipment criticality analysis.
- Collaborate with Engineering on the design, start-up, and improvement of new and existing machinery.
- Manage small technical improvement projects (e.g., quick Kaizen initiatives) and coordinate external contractors on-site.
Requirements:
- Technical Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis; Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification and knowledge of LSS tools and methods is a plus.
- Good command of English.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Power BI.
