We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Revenue Integrity Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable (AR) with a focus on identifying and resolving payment variances. Experience in infusion therapy is a plus. This role requires a thorough understanding of fee schedules, overpayments, underpayments, and payer guidelines, as well as familiarity with payer portals.

This is a remote position and open to candidates located within a 4-hour radius of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex or The Woodlands in Texas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve payment variances, including overpayments and underpayments.

  • Review and interpret fee schedules to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.

  • Utilize payer portals to verify claim status and payment information.

  • Collaborate with billing and collections teams to address discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer guidelines and regulations.

  • Prepare and submit appeals for denied or underpaid claims.

  • Generate reports on payment variances and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Minimum Requirement

Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.

Critical Skills

  • 3 + years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a healthcare setting.

  • Strong understanding of fee schedules, overpayments, and underpayments.

  • Familiarity with payer portals and payer guidelines.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills

  • Experience with infusion therapy billing is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$17.79 - $29.65
