As a Payments Regulatory Operations Quality & Standards Associate within the Regulatory Reporting Quality & Standards team, you ensure regulatory reporting accuracy, completeness, and timeliness through proactive quality reviews and disciplined control execution. You partner across global and regional teams to identify risks, test controls at scale using technology tools, and drive remediation to strengthen reporting outcomes. You deliver clear insights and practical improvements that sustain high standards and regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute risk assessments to identify process gaps and design effective controls
- Perform end-to-end quality reviews to evaluate control design and operating effectiveness
- Interpret regulatory requirements and assess applicability to payments reporting processes
- Track remediation progress for identified issues through closure
- Diagnose root causes and recommend corrective actions for deficiencies
- Drive continuous improvement by proposing effective and practical process alternatives
- Strengthen control adherence by building process knowledge and reinforcing a strong control culture
- Monitor workflow and report quality metrics, including accuracy, completeness, and service level agreement adherence
- Synthesize trends, issues, and observations into concise reporting for leadership
- Lead change management initiatives from requirement through implementation
- Leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning tools for anomaly detection, data validation, and root cause analysis
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Demonstrate 9+ years of experience in risk and controls, audit, or quality assurance within banking
- Apply experience supporting regulatory reporting quality standards, reviews, or testing activities
- Exhibit familiarity with artificial intelligence and machine learning tools, including large language model-based solutions
- Maintain a solid understanding of global regulatory reporting and control frameworks
- Communicate clearly in writing and in verbal stakeholder discussions
- Organize work effectively to manage priorities, timelines, and delivery commitments
- Analyze complex processes with strong attention to detail and sound judgment
- Operate independently with a disciplined, execution-focused approach
- Influence stakeholders to drive alignment, decisions, and remediation outcomes
