We are looking for professionals specializing in the development of low-level (Layer 1) software for wireless communication systems. Experience with embedded solutions and programming in C is especially valued . As a Software Engineer, you will join our Radio/Baseband Unit and contribute to one of our projects with possibilities of further expansion: FlexRAN/OpenRAN (5G) development, customization, and integration across L1, L2, and L3. You will work with reference architecture within the Open RAN ecosystem, gaining hands-on experience in cutting-edge wireless technologies

Location: Szczecin/Wrocław or remotely  from Poland

We expect you to have:   

• Above all… ability and willingness to learn and to work in an agile cross-functional team    
• Advanced C programming skills
• Telco – L1 physical layer domain knowledge
• Data/Packet processing knowledge
• Good knowledge of embedded software design principles   
• Optimization techniques and writing performance-critical code  
• RTOS and/or Linux knowledge   
• Git versioning knowledge   
• Experience in work with CI/CD environment  
• At least good command of English and communication skills    

Nice to have:    

• Experience in Model-Driven Development    
• Experience with troubleshooting (GDB, crash analysis)   
• Knowledge of writing scripts and automatization will be an advantage   
• Familiarity with Advanced Vector Extensions   
• Familiarity with Matlab (5G Toolbox)   
• Knowledge of DPDK libraries will be an advantage
