24 hour evening shift position - alternating week days 3pm to 1130pm including one weekend a month (Saturday & Sunday) with alternating holidays.Responsible for registering patients and updating information in the patient’s electronic medical record. Perform a variety of administrative tasks to ensure that patient demographic, financial and mandated information is accurate based on available information, while providing patients and/or family members with required regulatory informational documents regarding their visit or admission.

- Excellent guest relations and telephone demeanor
- Ability to professional handle all interactions within a fast paced, hectic and emotionally charged clinical environment.
- Ability to think critically in making decisions to ensure urgent or emergent situations are handled correctly within hospital policies and procedures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
- Minimum two years of computer experience
- Minimum one to two years of experience in an acute hospital setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology

- High school diploma or equivalent.
