The Regional Vice President (RVP), Anthropic Partnership, is a senior leadership role responsible for building, owning, and scaling phData’s strategic relationship with Anthropic while driving material revenue growth and long-term enterprise value. This leader will sit at the intersection of partnerships, sales, and go-to-market, ensuring that Anthropic is fully integrated into our commercial strategy, offerings, and client engagements across the region.

Initially, the RVP will not have direct reports but will lead through influence across a cross-functional, matrixed team (Sales, Account Leaders, Solutions, Marketing) and serve as both a strategic executive sponsor and a hands-on field leader. With deep expertise in enterprise AI, cloud, and data consulting, they will translate Anthropic’s capabilities into differentiated market plays, co-selling motions, and C-level customer conversations that consistently drive pipeline and bookings.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of scaling ecosystem-led growth, navigating complex partner and customer environments, and cultivating strategic, executive-level relationships across both partners and clients.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Provide clear strategic direction for all Anthropic-related go-to-market activities in the region, aligning Sales, Account Leaders, Solutions, and Marketing to shared goals.
  • Establish and reinforce a high-accountability, high-collaboration culture around the Anthropic partnership, ensuring roles, responsibilities, and expectations are well-defined.
  • Coach and enable regional sales and account teams on how to position Anthropic, when to bring them into deals, and how to co-create value for clients.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, L&D, and People teams to ensure we have the right mix of field, solution, and delivery talent to support Anthropic-driven opportunities.
Anthropic Partnership Strategy and Growth
  • Serve as the primary executive owner for the Anthropic relationship within the region, maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with Anthropic’s sales, alliances, marketing, and product leaders.
  • Co-create and execute a joint regional business plan with Anthropic, including revenue targets, focus industries, hero use cases, and territory/account alignment.
  • Lead joint account mapping, pipeline reviews, and QBRs with Anthropic to identify net-new opportunities, expansion plays, and multi-threaded executive relationships.
  • Ensure phData is positioned as a go-to services and implementation partner for Anthropic, including representation in partner directories, sales plays, and field communities.
  • Bring structured field feedback (market signals, competitive dynamics, customer needs) back to both Anthropic and internal leadership to influence roadmap, offers, and investment decisions.
Go-to-Market, Co-Selling, and Demand Generation
  • Translate corporate and partner objectives into regional Anthropic GTM plans, including target account lists, priority verticals, and campaign strategies.
  • Drive disciplined execution of co-selling motions with Anthropic, ensuring joint pursuit strategies, role clarity, and shared qualification criteria.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute joint campaigns, events, and enablement (webinars, executive roundtables, field workshops, customer stories) that highlight Anthropic-powered solutions.
  • Partner with Solutions and Delivery leaders to shape repeatable offerings and accelerators (e.g., AI adoption journeys, Claude-based solutions, pilots/POCs) that make it easy for sales teams to position and sell Anthropic-backed services.
Strategic Account Management & Executive Engagement
  • Act as an executive sponsor for key Anthropic-related pursuits and accounts, joining high-stakes customer meetings to reinforce partnership value, negotiate outcomes, and build executive confidence.
  • Partner with Regional Sales and Account Leaders on joint account plans that include Anthropic where appropriate, with clear expansion strategies, success metrics, and value narratives.
  • Facilitate alignment among C-level and SVP-level leaders across customers, Anthropic, and phData, ensuring we are seen as a unified, strategic partner rather than a collection of disconnected teams.
Performance Monitoring, Reporting, and Governance
  • Own the Anthropic partnership scorecard for the region, including pipeline, bookings, attach rates, and partner-sourced/influenced revenue.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews, deal inspections, and forecast calls focused on Anthropic-powered opportunities to ensure quality, velocity, and predictability.
  • Use data and analytics to identify coverage gaps, enablement needs, and GTM optimizations, then drive corrective action with regional and functional leaders.
  • Provide timely, transparent reporting and insights to executive leadership, including progress against joint business plans, key wins, risks, and investment recommendations.
Key Metrics of Success
  • Anthropic-Sourced & Influenced Bookings: Volume and quality of opportunities and bookings where Anthropic is a direct contributor.
  • Total Bookings Attributable to Anthropic: Overall services and solution revenue associated with Anthropic-powered deals.
  • Joint Pipeline Health: Strength, diversification, and conversion rates of Anthropic-related opportunities across segments and industries.
  • Account Penetration & Expansion: Number of strategic accounts actively leveraging Anthropic in production or scaled pilots, plus depth of expansion within those accounts.
  • Partner Engagement & Satisfaction: Strength of the relationship as measured by partner feedback, joint planning participation, and invitations to strategic initiatives.
  • Internal Adoption & Enablement: Number of field and delivery team members enabled/certified on Anthropic, and quality of Anthropic inclusion in account plans.
  • Forecast Accuracy: Predictable, data-driven forecasting for Anthropic-related pipeline and bookings on a quarterly and annual basis.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise software, cloud, AI, or consulting, including 5+ years leading multi-level, field-facing teams.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling strategic technology partnerships (e.g., hyperscalers, AI/ML platforms, or major ISVs), ideally including AI foundation model providers.
  • Deep understanding of the AI, cloud, and data ecosystem, with the ability to credibly engage Anthropic, cloud partners, and C-level customer stakeholders on strategy and value.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets through ecosystem-led growth, co-selling, and joint go-to-market programs.
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders across customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Strong operational discipline, including experience with pipeline management, partner governance, forecasting, and repeatable sales processes.
  • Demonstrated success leading through influence in a matrixed environment, aligning Sales, Partnerships, Solutions, Delivery, and Marketing around shared partner objectives.
  • Commitment to building inclusive, high-trust, high-performance teams, with a track record of developing talent and creating clear career paths.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%.
