As the Regional Training Manager supporting US Pharmaceutical and Dry Eye, you will be trusted to build and deliver a variety of training initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, train new hires, coach and co-travel with sales specialists. You will also be collaborating with regional directors, division managers, field sales trainers and new hire mentors in the United States (Remote).
Primary Responsibilities:
Curriculum Maintenance & Content Development
-
Update new hire on-boarding content to maintain relevance and focus on driving sales.

Develop clinical, portfolio and selling skills content for new and tenured sales organization based on sales organization needs at a national, regional or division level
Collaboration on Training Initiatives: Creation, Delivery and Advisor
-
Marketing team: national sales meetings, mid-year meetings, product and program launches
-
Market Access team: ongoing tools and resources to drive sales
-
Sales Operations team: ongoing tools to analyze territory sales to plan effective sales calls
-
Special projects with other internal business functions
-
Cover Division Manager role when on LOA or vacant
Training Execution
-
Coordinate and conduct new hire training
-
Deliver training initiatives at a national, regional or division level
-
Delivery of content through face-to-face meetings, pod-casts, WebEx and video recordings
-
Work within and model compliance policies
Coaching & Mentorship
-
Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to sales reps.

Focus on skill building, effective customer interaction and achieving performance goals
Leading & Training Field Sales Trainers (FSTs)
-
Field Sales Trainers are Sales Specialists who tackle additional training roles
-
On-boarding new FST and RTM roles
-
Assigning content and prepare FST to assist in new hire on-boarding
-
Assisting Division Manager (DM) in assigning FST to work with a new hire
-
Facilitate regional FST calls to solicit feedback and standard methodologies
Compliance & Regulatory Training
-
Ensure all training programs align with pharmaceutical regulations.

Compliance training and updates on new policies
Co-travels
-
Conduct Field Rides as needed with new and tenured Sales Specialists
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)

The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

2 Years of Validated Experience
Preferred Skills/Experience

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or related field

Successful Vision Care sales experience and industry knowledge

Pharmaceutical Field Sales Trainer experience

Experience mentoring and coaching new representatives in the field

Experience facilitating training classes

Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with internal and external partners

Possess high achievement drive, self-motivation, and willingness to mentor others

Effective problem solving and decision making skills

Interpersonal skills and ability to optimally communicate across diverse audiences

Business sense and business planning skills
