Interconnect Solutions Films & Laminates - Regional Supply Chain Manager  

Summary

The Regional Supply Chain Manager is accountable for planning and scheduling of raw materials, intermediates and finished goods for the global business. The Regional Supply Chain Manager is a major facilitator of the Integrated Business Process meetings and maintains close communications with several different teams within the business.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for defining the strategic direction and design of the supply chain to achieve the customer service level objectives of the business.
  • Accountable for receiving the unconstrained demand plan, translating it into a supply plan and identifying constraints and communicating the plan to the manufacturing organization for execution.
  • Accountable for raw materials ordering, using the Bill of Materials
  • Accountable for managing risks associated with raw materials suppliers (i.e., preordering a raw material that is anticipated to be hard to procure later on in accordance with the supply plan)
  • Responsible for mitigating risk of inventory obsolescence by evaluating aging and blocked inventory and performing a root cause analysis in cases of expired inventory to prevent similar issues from happening in the future
  • Responsible for consistently monitoring performance metrics and identifying opportunities to deliver an improved competitive advantage
  • Provide oversight to the Master Schedulers, Asset Schedulers and Material Planners  
  • Responsible for facilitating the Supply Review meetings across the Supply Chain, Operations, Sourcing, Finance and Logistics organizations
  • Responsible for assessing material and information flows across the supply chain at tactical and/or strategic levels
  • Responsible for identifying and facilitating improvement projects to make supply chain processes more efficient.
  • Responsible for managing the rules for abnormal demand, supply issues (including constrained supply), and customer requirements outside the capability of the supply chain to deliver.
  • Responsible for providing inputs in the demand planning process
  • Responsible for Regional Inventory level, inventory health and Days’ supply of inventory
  • Responsible for on time delivery in accordance with Order Fulfillment

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 Years of Experience
  • At least 5 years in an operational role and ideally 5 years of supply chain experience
  • University degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • ASCM (APICS) CPIM Certified
  • Customer Focus/Market Responsive Awareness
  • Driving results through personal accountability, especially through the use of teamwork, partnerships and collaboration
  • Sensitivity to and the ability to work and lead effectively in an international and culturally diverse environment.  Astute in the ability to lead virtual teams
  • Proven track record in effective implementation of strategic plans

Skills Required
