As a Regional Sales Manager – Midwest U.S., you are driving profitable revenue growth across a multi-state territory by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives. You are strengthening channel partner relationships, supporting key end-user accounts, and identifying new opportunities for Continental Disc and Groth products. You are collaborating with customers, representatives, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to position innovative pressure relief solutions and expand market share. You are leveraging market intelligence, technical expertise, and strong commercial acumen to achieve sustainable business growth.
As a Regional Sales Manager, you are responsible for:
Channel Partner Management
Developing, managing, and strengthening relationships with authorized channel partners and manufacturer representatives throughout the territory.
Coaching and supporting partner inside and outside sales teams to improve performance and market penetration.
Conducting joint sales calls, customer visits, and territory development activities.
Developing partner business plans designed to accelerate sales growth and expand market share.
Supporting trade shows, technical conferences, and industry meetings related to pressure relief solutions.
Monitoring partner performance, identifying gaps, and implementing corrective growth initiatives.
Supporting CRM pipeline updates, opportunity management, and sales forecast accuracy.
Sales & Business Development
Driving sales growth of Continental Disc rupture discs, pressure relief devices, and Groth tank protection products.
Identifying and developing new business opportunities across refining, chemical, petrochemical, industrial gas, power, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and process industries.
Building strong relationships with strategic customers and key decision-makers.
Collaborating with engineering, operations, and product management teams to meet customer requirements.
Leading technical sales opportunities from identification through successful order closure.
Technical & Customer Support
Delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training programs to customers and channel partners.
Supporting application discussions related to pressure relief and tank protection solutions.
Assisting customers with product specification development and solution selection.
Participating in industry events, trade shows, and technical seminars.
Sales Operations
Managing a robust pipeline through Salesforce CRM and maintaining opportunity visibility.
Providing accurate forecasting and pipeline management across the territory.
Monitoring market trends, customer activities, and competitive intelligence.
Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasting processes.
Preparing territory performance reports and strategic growth plans.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Have 3–5+ years of successful experience selling technical products within industrial markets.
Have experience working through distributor, manufacturer representative, or channel partner networks.
Have a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
Have experience presenting technical products and solutions to customers and partners.
Have working knowledge of Salesforce CRM or similar sales management platforms.
Have strong forecasting, pipeline management, and market analysis skills.
Have the ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
Have residence within the territory and proximity to a major commercial airport.
Preferred Qualifications
Have experience with pressure relief devices, rupture discs, tank protection systems, valves, instrumentation, or industrial process equipment.
Have knowledge of refining, petrochemical, chemical processing, power generation, or energy industries.
Have experience supporting both inside and outside sales organizations.
Have strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate complex solutions to customer stakeholders.

The annual pay scale for this position is between $79,490.00 - $178,640.00.Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes’ good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-bias competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time. Please keep in mind that the range stated above is the full base salary range for the role and does not include other forms of compensation.
