This Senior Sales Representative will be customer-facing staff, that is responsible for winning business throughout North America. They will also be contributing to the Baker Hughes sales plan in America. You will be defining sales strategies for targeted clients.
 

As the Senior Sales Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the full awareness of and compliance with, the requirement of all relevant company/customer HSE handbooks, HSE, and emergency procedures.
  • Preparing for approval and action of sales plans, sales visits, technical papers, and strategies, keeping undated entries to SOP and Sales planning
  • Coordinating with other departments for preparation and updating the offers to our customers etc., to optimize efforts and minimize costs.
  • Responding to customer inquiries & coordinate tenders/contracts/credit verification, ensuring compliance with Baker Hughes policies and meeting the Customer´s specifications
  • Promoting and selling New Builds of Synchronous Generators (both 2-pole and 4-pole technology) and synchronous and motors and in a structured, planned manner to increase existing market share and establish new customer(s).
  • Participating on the relevant events within the region
  • Having frequent and extensive travel within the market region as required.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and at least 5 years of experience in Sales, Account Management and/or Business Development in power generation industry
  • Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Have experience in selling generators or other power sector industrial products
