Summary
Provides first-line leadership and support for assigned branch locations, ensuring achievement of sales and production goals, exceptional client experience, and operational excellence. Leads and develops branch teams through coaching, training, and performance management while providing direction on sales execution, customer service, talent management, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Drives consistent execution of retail banking objectives and fosters a culture of accountability, engagement, and client-focused service across the branch network.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for oversight of approximately 8 to 15 banking centers, including direct supervision of Banking Center Managers and Business Development Managers with frequent site visits to assigned banking centers.
Sales Management
- Measures and manages sales based on daily, monthly, quarterly and annual budgeted goals.
- Markets bank products to target markets inside and outside the banking center by contacting potential customers, businesses, and community and civic organizations to promote goodwill and generate new business; explaining appropriate bank products to target audience; interviewing customers to obtain information and explain available financial services; cross selling new products to current bank customers.
- Trains and coaches on product knowledge, presentation of products and services, effective marketing and any applicable operational processes / procedures.
- Ensures customer experience is “fast, easy, and personal” consistent with Company customer service standards. Resolves escalated customer problems, including by working with Customer Relations associates to resolve customer complaints.
- Leads Managers, including interviewing, hiring, coaching, scheduling, performance management, motivating, training, preparing and terminating, when appropriate. Participates in hiring, training, and coaching all new associates in region and participates in performance management and termination of those associates, when appropriate. Ensures Managers complete timely performance reviews of their direct reports and provides oversight on those reviews to ensure consistency and fairness.
- Actively assists Regional Operations Managers with ensuring that operations expectations are achieved and holds Managers accountable for operational soundness through regular feedback, performance evaluations, and where necessary, performance management.
- Responsible for knowing, following, and ensuring all banking center associates’ adherence to all bank policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws. Promotes ethical environment by modeling integrity and requiring ethical behaviors of all associates.
- Has mastery of all regulatory and compliance issues and holds Managers accountable for ensuring all compliance and internal audit requirements have been met.
- Maintains client information in complete confidence.

Skills

- Advanced experience with the Microsoft Suite of products is required including Copilot and Power BI.
- Daily travel required throughout assigned region. Occasional overnight travel outside the local area may be required depending upon the region assigned. If transporting oneself, a valid driver’s license in the primary state of residence is required.
- Ability to be NMLS licensed and registered, required.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- 5+ years of banking center management experience required.
- 3+ years of regional bank management or other multi-site management preferred.
- Experience in consultative customer service or sales role, with a strong commitment to delivering a personalized and engaging customer experience.
- Proven track record of successful sales and personnel management.
Physical Requirements
The work environment is typical of a standard office or retail banking setting. The position is sedentary, involving sitting most of the workday; however, the position will involve moving about the workspace to reach entrances/exits, restrooms, conference rooms, or other areas within the work environment. Reaching may be required involving the ability to move arms in any direction. Office equipment, such as a computer and telephone, will be used requiring the ability to manipulate a keyboard, mouse, and/or keypad. The ability to decipher a computer screen or written documents is necessary. The ability to express or exchange ideas; impart information to clients, coworkers, or the public; or to convey detailed or important instructions; is required. The ability to receive and understand detailed information shared through oral or written communication is required. Position requires occasional lifting and/or the exerting of up to 25 pounds of force.
Compensation & Benefits
The Regional Sales Executive position pay range is $110,000 - $130,000. This position is eligible for additional incentive compensation quarterly and annually, based on achievement of established incentive goals.
