Our mission is to make the digital world a safer place for everyone. We do this by providing a suite of APIs that help companies verify user identities, secure transactions, prevent fraud, and enable seamless communications. The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Director to lead our growth efforts across the vibrant and fast-growing Southeast Asia (SEA) region. Based in our Singapore hub, you will be a key player in our international expansion, responsible for building a robust sales pipeline, closing strategic deals, and establishing Telesign as the market leader in digital identity and communications security.
This is a high-impact role for a hunter who thrives on building something from the ground up, navigating complex sales cycles, and forging lasting relationships with enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the SEA region to exceed revenue targets and drive market penetration.

- Pipeline Generation: Proactively identify, qualify, and cultivate a sustainable pipeline of new business opportunities within key verticals such as FinTech, E-commerce, Social Media, and Enterprise Technology.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with C-level executives, security leaders, and technical decision-makers at enterprise accounts.
- Market Expertise: Become a trusted advisor to customers and an internal expert on the competitive landscape, market trends, and regulatory environment in the SEA region.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Solution Engineering, Product, and Legal to ensure a seamless customer experience and align our solutions with market needs.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate forecasting and provide regular reporting on sales activity, pipeline status, and territory performance to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven Track Record: 8+ years of B2B enterprise software sales experience, with a consistent record of exceeding multi-million dollar quotas.
- Regional Expertise: Deep understanding of and established network within the Southeast Asian market (e.g., Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines).
- Industry Background: Prior experience selling in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: Cybersecurity, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Fraud Prevention, CPaaS, or API-based solutions.
- Hunter Mentality: A proven ability to independently prospect, generate new business, and close complex deals in a competitive environment.
- Executive Presence: Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop a territory plan, identify key verticals, and execute a go-to-market strategy.
- Resilience & Drive: Self-motivated, ambitious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, or a related field.
Language Skills: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in other Southeast Asian languages is a significant advantage.
What We Offer
- Competitive Compensation: A attractive package including a competitive base salary, uncapped commission structure, and equity.
- Career Growth: A high-visibility role with significant opportunities for professional development and career advancement in a growing global company.
- Impact: The chance to be a foundational leader in a critical region for Telesign, directly impacting our global success.
- Great Environment: A collaborative, inclusive, and innovative culture that values diversity and big ideas.
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, wellness programs, and a flexible leave policy.
