Cloud Sales Specialist
We are seeking a driven and outcomes‑focused Cloud Sales Specialist (IC4-G7) to join our Sales organization. This role is responsible for developing new logo opportunities, trusted customer relationships, leading discovery engagements, and driving pipeline and revenue growth within a defined region.
The ideal candidate will be technically fluent across cloud technologies—preferably Nutanix, OpenStack, and major hyperscale platforms—and capable of engaging in solution‑led conversations that translate technology into meaningful business outcomes.
The Role
Customer Engagement & Growth
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers across your assigned territory.
- Lead discovery sessions and solution workshops to uncover customer needs and align them with Continent 8’s cloud portfolio.
- Position Continent 8 as a trusted advisor through insight‑driven customer engagement.
Pipeline Development & Sales Execution
- Build, manage, and close pipeline opportunities across your region.
- Apply cloud technical expertise to articulate the value of Continent 8’s cloud and managed services offerings.
- Work closely with account teams to deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Alignment
- Partner with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, and wider technical teams to ensure high-quality solution design and delivery.
- Share knowledge, best practices, and insights to support sales excellence across regions.
- Track, forecast, and report sales performance in line with company processes and targets.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required:
- 3-4 years’ experience in technical solutions sales, with cloud technologies.
- Proven ability to manage complex sales engagements and link technical value to commercial impact.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills across executive and technical audiences.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on delivering measurable customer outcomes.
- Strong track record in pipeline development, sales execution, and achieving revenue targets.
- Demonstrated success leading discovery workshops and applying outcome‑based solution selling.
