Your Part in this Growth Story: 

Stonebranch is searching for a Regional Sales Director who’s interested in playing in the explosive IT automation market. As a Regional Sales Director in Frankfurt, you will lead and drive sales efforts across the DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) region by actively seeking new logos and engaging with global and enterprise customers to drive Stonebranch’s product adoption. This role requires an accomplished sales professional who is fluent in German and possesses a strong background in Workload Automation and/or SOAP (Service-Oriented Architecture Protocol) software sales. This position includes a sales quota with performance-based incentives.


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise software sales, preferably with experience from companies such as Broadcom, BMC, IBM, TWS, or Redwood. The candidate is expected to have strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate an ability to interface with customers and prospects at all levels of management.


This position is based out of our Frankfurt, Germany office and will report to the Chief Sales Officer. This will be a hybrid position – 3 days per week onsite, 2 days per week remote.


Your Impact on The Organization:  

  • Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the DACH region to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of regional sales representatives, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring a deep understanding of company products and the competitive landscape.
  • Customer Engagement: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers at target organizations, demonstrating the value of our workload automation solutions in solving their business challenges.
  • Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities within the DACH region and drive expansion into untapped market segments.
  • Product & Industry Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of workload automation technologies and trends, leveraging insights to address customer needs effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and technical support teams to ensure alignment on customer needs, product positioning, and value propositions.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability for regional sales performance.

What You Will Bring to the Team:  

  • Language: Native or fluent German speaker with strong English proficiency.
  • Experience: 10+ years of sales experience in the enterprise software industry, with a focus on Workload Automation and/or SOAP software. Preferred experience from companies like Broadcom, BMC, IBM, TWS, or Redwood.
  • Sales Leadership: Proven success in managing regional sales teams, developing strategies, and achieving high-growth targets within a complex sales environment.
  • Technical Acumen: In-depth knowledge of workload automation and/or SOAP software solutions, with the ability to discuss technical concepts with clients and tailor solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Relationship-Building: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and credibility with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify challenges within the sales process and develop innovative solutions to overcome them.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
