Job Description

Purpose of this position:

  • Successful SAP S4 Hana Alliance (with Ariba experience) and BYD template Rollout projects with high level of business satisfaction and acceptability by achieving business benefits.
  • To implement and Support Ariba (SAP) implementations within APAC region in addition to S4 Hana and BYD.
  • Standardized processes across all business domains within Region APAC in alignment with the company’s processes and legal requirements.
  • Parallel project activities are in alignment with the overall strategy & objectives with regard to processes standardization, data harmonization, business processes documentation.
  • Increasing the regional organization’s overall efficiency and effectiveness whilst continuously improving business processes.
  • Liaison with all relevant stakeholders like Regional SAP Team, Regional Organizations (Regional Procurement), Corporate Process Governance and the local Business team (Local Process Owners).

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with local project teams, regional Process- and SAP team in SAP template projects (Rollouts, Integrations) in Region APAC (Alliance, Ariba and ByD).
  • Approve TO BE business processes and implement global template solutions with specific localizations for legal requirements and local processes.
  • Lead and support regional business process changes and improvement projects.
  • Collaborate and support the Region (APAC) in global SAP initiatives, such as upgrades or other technology changes.
  • Execute business fit-gap analysis, identify gaps, scope changes and review alternatives (in collaboration with corp./regional SAP Consulting Organization).
  • Identifying, documenting, and testing new regional template scenarios.
  • Educating local Business team members on best practices.
  • Support local teams for training initiatives (Train the Trainer) and Change Management.
  • Identify gaps in existing procedures, review process performance, effectiveness and efficiency of specific core processes and intervene and remediate accordingly.
  • Single-point ownership and first contact for local Process Owners.
  • Support Operations of SAP (Ticketing).
  • Support Data Migration and Global Master Data Governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design business processes considering the best interests of the Organization and the viability of execution (i.e. SoW of a new SAP implementation / Process design in case of required changes).
  • Ensure application/implementation of Alliance Template incl. the defined standard processes.
  • Take decision in the area of the processes (in alignment with global template processes), such as
    • PO handling
    • Management of Direct- and Indirect Goods purchasing
    • Release strategies.
    • Intercompany Business
    • Ariba
    • EDI Processes
    • Cross functional topics with other supporting functions (including but not limited) such as MRP results, goods receiving, finance and controlling, and reporting
  • Own the business processes defined as Regional Blueprint.
  • Management of external consulting partners.

Qualifications

Competence, Skills 

  • Several years Business experience related to the Business Processes in the Area of responsibility
  • Knowhow of the SAP Alliance setup and processes
  • Exposure to new technologies and innovation topics
  • Hands-on personality: display energetic and self-motivated.
  • Influential personality to get his/her ideas across, pragmatic and strong willingness to get the job done with high level of motivation, networking, problem solving, and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels, able to gain respect, trust and confidence of management, partners and team members.
  • Capable of articulation the precise nature of any given situation appropriately to the target audience whether technical or non-technical
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English and other languages is added advantage
  • Motivated and capable of working in an international corporation and with globally distributed teams
  • Structured and effective approach to own work and time
  • Proactive attitude to set and achieve objective
