Lynd Management Group is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of multifamily properties throughout the San Antonio region.

This position is accountable for property performance, profitability, occupancy, collections, expense control, client relationships, and the development of high-performing property teams.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader with strong financial knowledge, extensive multifamily experience, and the ability to identify challenges, implement solutions, and hold teams accountable for results.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee the operational and financial performance of assigned San Antonio properties.
  • Monitor occupancy, revenue, collections, delinquency, expenses, cash flow, and other financial benchmarks.
  • Review property financial statements, budgets, performance reports, and business plans.
  • Identify underperforming properties and develop measurable improvement plans.
  • Visit assigned properties regularly and document observations, follow-up items, and progress.
  • Lead, mentor, evaluate, and develop Property Managers and other regional team members.
  • Ensure properties are appropriately staffed and actively participate in recruiting top talent.
  • Support employee training, performance management, counseling, and termination decisions.
  • Develop strategies to improve resident service, occupancy, rental revenue, and property performance.
  • Present financial and operational information to clients, owners, investors, and company leadership.
  • Provide input on capital projects, asset-management decisions, acquisitions, marketing evaluations, and staffing plans.
  • Maintain responsive and professional communication with clients and internal departments.
  • Ensure property teams comply with Fair Housing requirements, company policies, safety procedures, and required technology.
  • Partner with corporate department leaders to support consistent and effective property operations.
  • Promote Lynd’s mission, initiatives, standards, and culture throughout the region.
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 10 years of multifamily property management experience.
  • More than three years of experience overseeing multiple properties.
  • Demonstrated success managing property operations and financial performance.
  • Strong understanding of budgets, financial statements, occupancy, collections, expense control, and asset performance.
  • Experience developing Property Managers and leading geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong client, owner, investor, and executive-level communication skills.
  • Sound judgment with the ability to make timely decisions and resolve complex problems.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple properties and competing priorities.
  • Thorough knowledge of Fair Housing requirements and applicable multifamily housing laws.
  • Familiarity with the San Antonio multifamily market preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred; relevant property management experience may substitute for education.
  • Real estate license or Certified Property Manager designation preferred.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the San Antonio region and up to 50% based on business needs.
