As a Regional Key Account Manager (RKAM), you will manage the business relationship between PPG Packaging strategic business unit (SBU) and its Global Key Account customers in the US/Canada region. In this position, the RKAM is responsible for sales and profitability growth within these customers.
Key Responsibilities- Drive increased share of wallet growth at key customers in the region – improving volume, sales revenue, and profitability.
- Use your industry expertise to stay in-tune to the market, customer and competition and take that data to develop your business plan and identify sales opportunities.
- Own order-to-delivery process, working cross functionally with Customer Service, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure products are delivered timely, in-full and that PPG is delivering an outstanding end-to-end customer experience.
- Develop and maintain business relationships with key customer contacts throughout the customers' regional organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or Chemistry with 7+ years of customer-facing experience; Master's degree with proven experience in B2B environment and/or in industrial/chemical sales highly encouraged.
- Proven track record of success and progression within large multi-national organization with willingness and ability to travel regionally 50%+.
