This role will be based out of Marshall+Sterling’s Poughkeepsie, New York Office.

As a Regional/Division Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in driving the success of our teams, clients, and employee-owned organization. You’ll lead and develop Supervisors, Account Managers, and Customer Service Representatives while creating an environment where people can thrive, collaboration is encouraged, and great service is the standard.   • Lead and develop the region’s leadership team by recruiting, retaining, mentoring, and supporting high-performing Account Managers and Supervisors.
  • Oversee key client relationships and growth opportunities, taking a direct leadership role with the region or division’s largest accounts and supporting strategies that strengthen client retention.
  • Drive effective account management practices by ensuring consistent use of Service Timelines, Book Segmentation, and other tools that support proactive client service and retention.
  • Develop and execute regional business strategies that support growth, profitability, staffing needs, and long-term retention goals.
  • Monitor team performance and operational effectiveness, using key metrics and feedback to identify opportunities, improve processes, and ensure the region is delivering a high level of service.
  • Champion quality, consistency, and innovation by identifying and sharing best practices, strengthening workflows, and supporting the adoption of new technology and agency-wide initiatives.
  • Build a strong employee-owner culture and promote Marshall+Sterling, fostering collaboration across teams while representing the organization positively with employees, clients, and the community.
Qualifications
  • College degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Appropriate state insurance licenses and required continuing education. Active P+C insurance license preferred
  • Five years of related insurance or business experience, including one to three years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and brokerage/consulting practices.
  • Strong business, leadership, and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email; Vertafore experience a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.

 

Total Rewards Package:

Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000, based on experience, education, and work location.
