Job Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining contact with the local customer base insuring a continuous and improving revenue stream; P&L responsibility for the operation of the assigned territory; ensuring that all invoicing is completed on time and accurately; meeting or exceeding the job efficiency and gross profit goals for the region. Overseeing and managing the local labor and sales forces, ensuring that company policy is being followed and interfacing with various departments regarding all purchases, payroll, and capital expenditures.
Responsibilities
- Develop customer relationships and business opportunities within the market
- Manage and evaluate assigned workforce for the purpose of delivering services of exceptional quality, ensuring customer satisfaction while successfully attaining gross margin performance objectives, and support the continuing growth in revenue base.
- Maintain an understanding of the business and technical environment by staying abreast of the latest developments and their end-user application.
- Prepare and distribute regular performance and status reports as required.
- Support the local sales force to achieve required revenue stream to support the assigned area.
- Customer support, including: interfacing with the customer, providing guidance on problem resolution, insuring on time customer service, and maintaining a strong customer base.
- Develop new solutions based on defined market opportunity.
- Exercise the responsibility and authority over budgets and expenses for assigned work area to include personnel, overhead, training, tools, fleet, and office staff.
- Participate in the identification, selection, and final approval of personnel hiring and other personnel actions.
- Perform other job related duties as specified by the Senior Director of Operations and/or the Division Vice President

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required or a minimum of five years equivalent experience in a similar technical management position
- Extensive relevant technical experience to include fundamental understanding of voice and data networking, structured cabling, fiber optics, routing and switching. Familiarity with business concepts related to the use of information technologies and networking in all aspects of business and organizational operations for the achievement of business/operating objectives

- Knowledge of Telecommunications industry

- Public speaking experience preferred

Working Conditions
- Normal office environment.
- General hours of Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. But ability to provide support during and outside regular business hours is required.
- Travel required.
- Must be able to work in the United States.
