About the Role

Agemark is seeking an experienced Regional Director of Operations to lead a portfolio of senior living communities across our region. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving results in fiscal management, staffing, compliance, and overall property success. You'll partner closely with the Regional VP of Operations and property Executive Directors to build a success-oriented, accountable culture that puts residents, staff, and communities first.

What You'll Do
  • Provide guidance, support, and direction to properties across your assigned region, mirroring Agemark's mission, vision, and core values
  • Drive each property to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, NOI, and business goals
  • Measure the effectiveness of operational processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Deliver timely, accurate reports on the operating condition of your region
  • Collaborate with the VP of Operations and leadership team to develop and implement operational infrastructure, systems, and processes
  • Motivate, mentor, and coach Executive Directors and property leadership teams
  • Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment across the region
  • Represent the company with clients, investors, and business partners
  • Drive results in staff satisfaction, customer satisfaction, financial wellbeing, occupancy, and compliance
  • Help properties understand and manage their financials
  • Assist with the opening or acquisition of new properties
  • Step in to help manage properties without a leadership position, including extended travel when needed
  • Recruit and train new Directors, leadership team members, and management staff
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Travel to properties at least monthly (up to 75% travel required)
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Public Health, Geriatrics, or a related field preferred
  • Administrator license required or able to required to obtain within 3 months
  • Minimum 5 years in a management-level role within the senior housing industry
  • Minimum 5 years managing staff
  • Administrator license for the states this position oversees
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements, including state-specific regulations, OSHA, and fire codes
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and financial management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organization
  • Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including occasional support for other regions
