Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, collaborative Regional Business Development Specialist / Manager to join our International Strategy team. In this individual contributor role, you will help accelerate account growth and strategic commercial opportunities within your assigned territory (Europe).

This role can be based remotely anywhere in the EU.

Designed with professional development in mind, this position provides a clear pathway for career advancement, allowing you to refine your commercial expertise, deepen customer relationships, and expand technical knowledge under experienced leadership. You will work closely with cross-functional partners and regional sales channels to deliver high-impact technologies when safety is on the line. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience welcomed.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Sales  & Channel Support

  • Support the full sales lifecycle across assigned regional accounts, moving opportunities from qualification to proposal development and contract closing

  • Observe regional partner performance, supporting existing channel networks and helping to identify prospective channel partner candidates

  • Assist regional partners with product enablement, helping to ensure demonstration equipment and tools remain functional and fully operational

Market Strategy & Analytical Intelligence:

  • Analyze regional market conditions, procurement timelines, and local trend data to assist leadership with accurate demand forecasting

  • Gather regional intelligence regarding customer needs and competitive positioning to help shape corporate strategic planning

  • Visualize and communicate gathered data to the regional and broader sales leadership in a tech enabled manner (e.g. tailored dashboards, AI supported reporting etc.)

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Representation

  • Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to share customer feedback and help to ensure appropriate reflection in development and production

  • Represent the company at regional trade shows, product demonstrations, and industry events to increase market engagement

  • Coordinate executive and technical visits throughout the assigned territory, acting as a primary regional point of contact


Basic Requirements
  • Completion of secondary school or post-secondary education in business, engineering, or communications

  • Professional experience in sales, account management, or business development within tactical communications, wireless technology, or defense sectors

Technical Expertise

  • Tactical Communications to demonstrate knowledge of MANET ecosystems, RF networking, and wireless network integration

  • Market Intelligence to analyze regional procurement cycles, public safety funding structures, and defense acquisition processes

  • Language Skills to deliver business presentations and maintain professional communication in English and regional languages

Professional Experience

  • Ownership to support sales opportunities creation independently and build long-term relationships with strategic customer stakeholders

  • Partner Enablement to assist distributor and reseller networks with initial vetting and technical product knowledge

  • Cross-Functional Alignment to bridge end-user operational requirements with internal engineering and product roadmaps

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field

  • Prior background in military service, defense procurement, or public safety operations

  • Experience with program management in high-performance commercial environments

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Remote-based with travel (up to 50%) to customer meetings, trade shows, corporate events, and demonstrations.
• Work may be performed in office settings, field demos, and trade show venues.
• Outdoor environment for demos.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following:
- Lift equipment up to 50 lbs. for the set-up of demonstrations and testing.
- Occasional exposure to heat, cold, and allergens while performing field tests or demonstrations.
