About the role
We are hiring a recruiting coordinator to work closely with our recruiters and hiring teams to deliver the best candidate experience for Vannevar Labs. The Recruiting Coordinator is an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships; often providing candidates with their first impression of Vannevar. This candidate will be an organizational guru, work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, have the ability to shift gears at a moment’s notice and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals.
What you'll do
- Partner with recruiters to deeply understand hiring and scheduling priorities
- Work directly with candidates and hiring managers to provide first class interviewing experience
- Providing follow-up correspondence to candidates on scheduling via phone or email.
- Identifying opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
- Testing new scheduling tools and providing feedback to stakeholders.
- Assisting in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed
- Operate with a sense of urgency.
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of recruiting, coordination, administration, logistics, HR or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with basic web-based tools and products like Outlook, Excel, Word and SharePoint
- Self-starter and the ability to navigate through ambiguity
- Ability to stay meticulously organized despite being surround by chaos
- Strong professional written communication skills
- A conscientious, thoughtful teammate
