Who We Are

Percepta’s mission is to transform critical institutions with applied AI. We care that industries that power the world (e.g. healthcare, manufacturing, energy) benefit from frontier technology.

To make that happen, we embed with industry-leading customers to drive AI transformation. We bring together:

  • Forward-deployed expertise in engineering, product, and research

  • Mosaic, our in-house toolkit for rapidly deploying agentic workflows

  • Strategic partnerships with Anthropic, McKinsey, AWS, companies within the General Catalyst portfolio, and more

Our team is a quickly growing group of Applied AI Engineers, Embedded Product Managers and Researchers motivated by diffusing the promise of AI into improvements we can feel in our day to day lives.

Percepta is a direct partnership with General Catalyst, a global transformation and investment company.

About the Role

Percepta is seeking an enthusiastic Recruiting Coordinator to own, manage and elevate the candidate experience with our growing team. At Percepta, we believe that everyone is responsible for hiring, and you will be at the epicenter of creating processes and experiences that best represent us. In the role, you will partner closely with our Head of Recruiting, Jackie Goldstein, and the rest of our recruiting team to continue to elevate the candidate experience. The ideal person for this role will be excited to do everything from being the first friendly face to greet candidates, to continuing to create lightweight processes and escalating and solutioning when things are breaking as we scale. Additionally, you are someone who lives for the details, yet communicates (and maybe even overcommunicates!) to ensure everyone is on the same page. You are someone who understands that there’s no perfect solution, and is excited to quickly and creatively pivot while also thinking proactively and considering future scale.

What We’re Looking For

Organization and attention-to-detail are your superpowers. You take a "How can I help?" approach and understand the transformational importance of this role in building our company and candidate experience. You are comfortable juggling multiple tasks and pride yourself in operating with a sense of urgency. You love being a part of a close-knit team and thrive in a support role, knowing that even the smallest details can make a huge difference to our broader goals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Create and iterate to ensure an exceptional and welcoming recruiting experience for candidates and interviewers from start to finish.

  • Serve as the point of contact for candidates throughout the interview scheduling process, acting as an advocate for the candidate and our team, while operating with appropriate urgency and professionalism.

  • Collaborate with the Head of Recruiting, recruiting team, and stakeholders to identify process improvements, and actively surface any trends or important data points.

  • Utilize clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication with candidates and internal partners.

  • Expertly and tactfully manage multiple candidates and calendars to seamlessly coordinate high-volume and fast-paced interview activity across all teams.

  • Schedule and facilitate a high volume of phone, video, and onsite interviews, while also surfacing places for improvement and any candidate deadlines.

  • Build strong, positive relationships with hiring managers and interviewers, acting as a partner to provide any information required for interviews or to adjust schedules as needed.

  • Take on special projects as needed related to talent, culture, HR, etc.

Preferred Skills

  • At least 1+ year in talent coordination/scheduling, or an administrative support role within a high growth company.

  • Outstanding organizational skills and obsessive attention to detail.

  • Calendar/scheduling expertise (Google preferred) of onsite, phone and virtual interviews (Zoom preferred.)

  • Experience optimizing and utilizing an ATS (Ashby preferred).

  • Comfort with pivoting quickly and moving with speed in a fast paced environment.

  • Strong commitment to and passion for a positive candidate and employee experience.

  • Team-player mentality, with a “no task to small” mindset.

We’re working against an incredibly ambitious mission. It won’t be easy, but it will likely be the most fulfilling work of your career. If this excites you, let's chat, even if you don't meet all of the qualifications above.

Our Values

Dream bigger: We have the unique privilege of taking on the most ambitious problems and we should chase them with optimism, responsibility, and genuine belief that we can make it happen. We have to embrace the hard things when no one else will.
Heart in the game: What we're doing matters and we have to give a shit. Internally, that means fixing badness when you find it. Externally, it means honoring the trust our customers place in us with their most important problems. This isn’t a 9-5, nor is it a job we’re ever going to monitor your hours. We promise to put work in front of you that matters and in return, we ask you to promise to care.
Win for the customer: Everyone is an engineer and the job of an engineer is to deliver outcomes, not outputs. Everything we do—the products we build, the partnerships we launch, the strategy we set—exists to make our customers successful. Delivery is the strategy.
Make the call: Organizations are only as strong as the pace at which they make decisions. Everyone at Percepta should feel empowered to commit and shape the ambiguity in front of them. But "make the call" cuts both ways: make the decision and make the phone call. High-agency decision-making only works with high-bandwidth communication and we commit to never operate in silos.
Intensity with kindness: We believe in excellence in execution, candor in feedback, ruthlessness in prioritization, and survivalist urgency. We also believe you don't need to be an asshole to deliver on any of this. The trust built through shared kindness and vulnerability is what makes the intensity sustainable.

Skills Required

  • Ability to expertly manage multiple candidates and calendars in a high-volume environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills and obsessive attention to detail

  • Calendar/scheduling expertise (Google Calendar preferred)
  • Experience with video interviewing platforms (Zoom preferred)
  • Experience optimizing and using an ATS (Ashby preferred)
  • Comfort pivoting quickly and operating with urgency in a fast-paced environment
