About the RoleWe're looking for a high-energy, curious, and relentlessly resourceful Recruiter to help us hire the exceptional handypeople who power our service across the country. This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit behind a screen and wait for applications to roll in. It's for someone who lights up at the challenge of finding great people, building the system to scale it, and using technology to make the whole thing faster and smarter.
You'll work directly with our National Operations Lead. You'll own one of the most important levers in the business from day one: getting the right people in the door, faster. And you'll use AI tools, including Claude, to automate, optimize, and continuously improve how we recruit.
No prior recruiting experience required. We're hiring for curiosity, energy, and the drive to build something great.
What You'll OwnRun a full-cycle recruiting process to hire 10+ handypeople per month nationally
Build and maintain a healthy, high-volume candidate pipeline through creative sourcing
Implement AI-powered screening and outreach tools to scale the funnel and reduce time-per-hire
Identify new sourcing channels and experiment relentlessly to find what works best for tradespeople
Own the candidate experience: fast, warm, and professional from first contact to first day
Source candidates and screen resumes across Indeed, Craigslist, and beyond
Keep candidates engaged and excited through every step of the process
Draft and maintain job postings; keep our ATS (Ashby) clean and accurate
Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and keep hiring managers aligned
Build and run AI workflows with Claude to automate repetitive sourcing and screening tasks
Support offers and onboarding; close the loop on every person you bring in
You're fired up about building something from the ground up and making it better every week
You're energized by high-volume work and don't shy away from making the 50th call of the day
You pick up new tools fast, especially AI, and you apply them to real problems

Employment Type: Full-time.
Compensation: $65,000 plus benefits and stock options.
