Job Description

Recruiting Coordinator

Hybrid, in office 2-3 days a week.

This role is a part of Hana Group North America, a division of Hana Group, the global leader in Sushi and Japanese-inspired cuisine sold in grocers and commerce marketplaces. We collaborate with leading grocery retailers (primarily in the US) to sell Sushi and other Japanese-inspired cuisine under the brands Genji and Mai Sushi. Job Description Summary

The Recruiter I plays a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and selecting top-tier talent that aligns with our company's needs and values. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies that drive the growth and success of our organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to determine needs and job requirements for various roles within the company
  • Review resumes, conduct initial screenings and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for specific positions
  • Coordinate/schedule interviews, providing timely feedback to both candidates and hiring teams
  • Act as a point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing a positive and engaging candidate experience
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment tools
  • Stay informed about trends and best practices to continuously improve the recruitment process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in the overall recruitment process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics and progress to the HR team and hiring managers

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and data analysis/reporting tools like Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate data into clear, audience-appropriate presentations
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to exceptional customer service

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in business or related field a plus
  • 2-4 years of experience in recruiting or human resources
  • Retail and/or food manufacturing experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
