We are hiring an experienced Onsite Recruiter to lead talent acquisition efforts from the ground level. This position plays a critical role in identifying, engaging, and hiring high-caliber aerospace professionals across engineering, manufacturing, and support roles. The ideal candidate brings aerospace industry experience and is comfortable working directly onsite in a fast-paced, production environment. NO AGENCIES or VISA sponsorship available. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements.
- Develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies to attract top aerospace talent, including direct sourcing, job boards, professional networks, industry events, and technical schools.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation.
- Maintain and update candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Conduct candidate interviews and facilitate technical interviews with department leads.
- Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks, reference checks, and onboarding paperwork.
- Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates to HR Director and leadership.
- Promote the company as an employer of choice within the aerospace community.
- Attend career fairs, trade shows, and recruiting events relevant to the aerospace industry.
- Assist in refining job descriptions and posting strategies to increase applicant quality and volume.
- Support workforce planning and talent pipeline development for future hiring needs.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 3+ year in aerospace or aviation manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of aerospace-related roles, certifications, and candidate profiles.
- Must have experience hiring aerospace engineers and understanding the technical requirements of engineering roles.
- Proven ability to source and attract hard-to-find technical talent.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience working onsite in a fast-paced manufacturing or technical environment.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Experience recruiting for FAA-certified roles, A&P mechanics, or composite technicians.
- Familiarity with EEO, OFCCP, and other compliance requirements in hiring.
- PHR or SHRM certification
