We sell across three divisions. Managed AI is our MSP, purpose-built for institutional investors: private equity firms, venture capital funds, asset managers, and capital markets clients. We map how a firm actually works, deploy custom agents into the workflows that consume deal teams' time (reading deal documents, drafting IC memos, scoring targets, triaging inbound, structuring offers, monitoring portfolio companies), and keep evolving those systems as models and firm needs change. AI Engineering embeds our teams directly with clients to build and harden production AI systems. AI Transformation handles roadmap and readiness work, helping leaders figure out what to build, in what order, and how to prepare for it.

What You'll Be DoingCore Pipeline
  • Own full-cycle recruiting across all roles at PressW.

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to go from ambiguous, high-level asks to targeted roles.

  • Build deeply targeted sourcing strategies. Know the companies, the teams, and the specific people worth pursuing before a search opens. You are a sourcer at heart who does not wait for inbound.

  • Act as the first touchpoint for PressW. Run candidate process with urgency and care: same-day follow-up, next steps confirmed before you hang up, no candidate left chasing us.

  • Drive offers end to end, including extending, negotiating, and closing.

  • Protect the bar. You are the filter that keeps high-agency, high-urgency people moving forward and everyone else out.

Systems & Operations
  • Use the agentic AI stack hands-on across sourcing, screening, and closing. Push on where to automate next and share what is working with the team.

  • Manage pipeline data in Ashby, our ATS. Bring evidence to calibration conversations. Spot funnel problems early.

  • Build the first version of our internal recruiting playbook: interview loops, scorecards, interviewer training, and the process infrastructure the team will run on.

Your Milestone Roadmap
  • First 30 days: Shadow our existing recruiting process (external partner and contract recruiter). Learn the business inside and out, understand what excellence looks like for each role, and get fluent in Ashby.

  • By 90 days: Run candidate outreach and initial screens. Place your first hire.

  • By month 3: Own a clean pipeline driven by 80% active sourcing. Every candidate scored, every touchpoint tracked in Ashby. Roughly one hire per month. First version of the internal recruiting playbook shipped.

What You'll Bring
  • Proven ability to recruit across a range of roles.

  • Proven track record recruiting across technical functions. Able to quickly calibrate on role nuances, assess technical fit without being a practitioner, and build targeted sourcing strategies for specialized talent that is rarely looking.

  • Tech literacy and velocity: you don't need to code, but you need to know the difference between a data engineer and an applied AI engineer. You know how to leverage modern sourcing workflows to outpace traditional, rigid recruiting methods.

  • Daily, hands-on use of the modern agentic AI stack across every stage of the funnel (Claude, Cowork, ChatGPT, and whatever ships next week). You recruit with these tools, not just around them.

  • High tolerance for ambiguity and rejection. You thrive in a fast-moving startup environment, navigate hiring manager friction with ease, and operate well at high outreach volume.

  • Strong written and verbal communication. You follow up quickly and can tell a compelling story about PressW to a passive candidate who isn't actively looking.

  • Data-driven by default with sharp attention to detail. You bring evidence to every conversation and maintain a clean pipeline as a non-negotiable.

  • High ownership, low ego, and a builder's instinct. You create structure when the path is not fully drawn yet.
