About the Role!
We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment with experience in sourcing, screening, and hiring top technical talent in the tech industry. This role involves managing the full recruitment cycle.
This is a remote position.
You will:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing Software Development candidates.
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top technical talent.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand Software Development hiring needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct initial screenings to assess candidates' experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Stay up-to-date on recruitment trends and best practices to attract top talent.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Software Development Recruiter or similar role.
- Adherence to ethical recruitment practices, ensuring compliance with Canadian employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
- Familiarity with Software Development terms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to recruitment.
- Must be a resident of Canada and be eligible to work in Canada.
Nice to Haves
- Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., CHRP, AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Recruiter).
- Experience with employer branding and social media recruitment.
