We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Record to Report (R2R) Analyst to join our finance team. The R2R Analyst will be responsible for managing the complete accounting process from transaction recording to the preparation of financial statements. This includes month-end and year-end closing, reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures
Primary responsibilities include:
Month-End and Year-End Close:
- Assist in the timely and accurate closing of books for month-end and year-end.
- Perform journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to ensure financial records are accurate.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare month-end reconciliation reports.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Prepare supporting schedules for balance sheet and income statement line items.
- Analyze financial results and assist with variance analysis.
Account Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank, intercompany, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in reconciliations or accounting records.
- Support external auditors with audit requests and documentation.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within the R2R cycle.
- Assist in the implementation of new tools, systems, or reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other finance teams (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable) to ensure seamless month-end close and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with business units to gather necessary information for accounting and reporting purposes.
Ad Hoc Analysis and Projects:
- Provide support for special projects, audits, or analyses as requested by senior management.
- Assist in the continuous development of the R2R process and procedures.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of financial reporting software or ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
Educational Qualification:
Must have:
- Degree holder
- Partly qualified ACCA/ACA
- B2-French language
- Knowledge using Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel
- Excellent written and communication skills in English and French
Good to have: Excel certifications
Skills & Work Experience
Must have:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience accounting field
Good to have:
- Oracle knowledge, hospitality knowledge, Power BI, team management experience
