Receptionist

Essential Functions:

Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.

Ensures all visitors, vendors and delivery personnel sign in at the front desk, and in some offices are issued a temporary visitor’s badge.

Directs visitors/vendors to the appropriate Department or employee.

Promptly and courteously answer all incoming switchboard call and direct callers to the appropriate Department or employee.

Schedule, verify and cancel conference rooms and in some offices, conference calls for Circle K Employees. 

Handles a variety of responsibilities with the utmost confidentiality and sense of urgency.

Maintain a professional reception area: ensure cleanliness and organization representative of our Company’s image: comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

1.         High school diploma or GED preferred. 

2.         Excellent phone skills and the ability to work independently are required.

3.         Must be computer literate in MS Excel and Word, PeopleSoft skills a plus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at a normal range.

The lighting will include natural light from the outside as well as fluorescent lighting throughout the work areas.
