Receives families and visitors at the front desk by welcoming, announcing them courteously and appropriately. Answers, screens, and routes incoming phone calls plus other general office support duties.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answers routine questions associated with services, location directions, etc.
- Screens and routes incoming calls to appropriate staff members
- Maintains a comfortable environment for clients in our guest-waiting area
- Receives incoming mail and packages
- Maintains organized and current electronic and paper files and records
- Typing, document creation, proofreading, data entry and printing
- Adheres to FOIP regulations
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Six months general office, receptionist, or administrative support experience preferred
- Proficient at operating computers, telephones, eFax and copier
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- A warm, inviting and calm demeanor
- Strong attention to detail required
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Ability and willingness to learn software such as Adobe and In Design
- Clear and professional speaking voice and tone
- Professional interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
- Ability to work schedule including weekends and beyond standard business hours
- Ability to work in a busy and interruptive environment, independently and as a team.
