Job DescriptionLocation: St. John Hospital Detroit
Schedule: Full-Time 40 hours per week; Varied shift hours and lengths; weekend and holiday rotation
Responsibilities:
- - Receives, screens, routes and responds to incoming telephone calls.
- - Takes accurate messages and ensures timely delivery.
- - Greets guests and provides appropriate assistance and information.
- - Performs additional clerical duties as assigned.
- - Maintains composure and professionalism in fast paced environment
- - Ability to prioritize and pay close attention to detail with frequent inturruptions
- - Excellent listening and communication skills
- - Proficient with computer and phone systems.
- - Cross trained to cover three front desk locations at St. John Hospital, Main Entrance, Center Lobby and Professional Building.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- - High School diploma equivalency required
- - 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- - 3 Years of Customer Service Experience preferred
- - 6 Months of Hospital or Physician Office Experience preferred
- - Flexibility in work schedule required
