Northside Orthodontics is looking for a full-time Receptionist to join our team and be an important part of the patient experience.This is a 4-day-per-week role, Monday to Friday, with a weekly rostered day off that may vary. You will need to be available for one late night each week, either Tuesday or Friday until 8pm, with a 10am start on that day.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll help make every visit feel friendly, organised and stress-free.

Job Description

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Welcoming and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Managing appointments and maintaining an accurate appointment book
  • Responding to patient enquiries in person, over the phone and via other communication channels
  • Maintaining patient records with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Working closely with the clinical team to keep the day running smoothly
  • Supporting the wider practice with general reception and administrative tasks

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with patients
  • Organised and able to manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable using computer systems and learning new software
  • Professional, reliable and attentive to detail
  • Confident working in a busy environment
  • Genuinely interested in providing great patient care

Previous dental or medical reception experience is preferred, but not essential. Experience with dental software will also be highly regarded, but full training and support will be provided to the right person.
