Your Role - Head of Hospitality
- You’ll create a welcoming atmosphere in our Seattle office and orient all who enter our space.
- Anticipate, delight, and personalize each guest’s experience in our space from the moment they arrive; notify the Brighton Jones team, validate parking, and offer refreshments
- Maintain the optimal functions of our space and equipment
- Coordinate routine maintenance and work with the Office Manager to coordinate repairs and service appointments
- Monitor conference room usage and manage scheduling conflicts
- Ensure the workplace is organized and tidy, including conference rooms, kitchens, and other common spaces (such as our speakeasy – shh it’s a secret!)
- Help prepare and act as on-site point of contact for in-office events – such as preparing supplies, coordinating catering, ensuring guests are directed, and hosts are supported
Your Role - Organizational, Vendor Support and Administrative Duties
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Receive, distribute, and send mail and packages
- Flag issues to office manager and assist with trouble shooting for various vendors including cleaning service, HVAC, food delivery services, etc.
- Assist with office tasks including shipping, printing, courier scheduling, scanning and large order purchases
- Take inventory and purchase supplies for the office; organize and replenish supplies
- Support space changes such as employee desk moves or space rearrangement
Requirements
- Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, or hospitality role preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Comfortable with office technologies (phone systems, Microsoft Office, printing/scanning equipment, etc.)
- Ability to lift, move, and carry items 25–40 lbs.
- This position is full-time in our Seattle office (8am – 5pm) with the ability to occasionally assist with early, late, or special event coverage
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No college degree necessary
- Emphasis on customer service mindset, professionalism, and willingness to learn on the job
Compensation
- Pay: $29.00 - $33.80 per hour. This full-time role is classified as non-exempt by the Fair Labor Standard Act, which means you are entitled to overtime pay for working more than 40 hours in a workweek (or more than 8 hours in one workday).
