Description
Dann Marine Towing is a sixth generation family owned and operated tug and barge company seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist/Receptionist to join our growing team. This position is an in office position at our Chesapeake City, MD headquarters, hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors
- Managing multi-line phone calls and inquires with professionalism
- Maintain and organize filing systems for accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices
- Assist in account reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records
- Collaborate with team members to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency
- Provide general administrative support as required, including data entry but not limited to other clerical tasks
Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Additional education in accounting or finance is a plus
- Proven experience in a receptionist and AP specialist role, preferably in a fast paced and focused environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.) and accounting software
- Preferred experience working with Sage 100 software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer focused attitude
Skills Required
