Job Purpose:
- The Receptionist at Team Chevrolet GMC of Salisbury serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This role is pivotal in managing front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting administrative tasks to facilitate smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a positive and professional demeanor.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for staff members.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, distributing them to the correct recipients.
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Assist in coordinating meetings and events, preparing necessary materials and refreshments.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information about services offered by Team Chevrolet GMC of Salisbury.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations and customer satisfaction.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional certification in office administration or related field preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Experience in an automotive dealership or similar environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and office equipment.
