Real World Data Analyst

IQVIA’s Real World Data area is focused on maximizing the insights and evidence contained in Healthcare data, continuously looking for innovative processes and analytics to drive healthcare forward

Essential Functions of the role

• Supports in building strong data analytics based on Healthcare Big Data (Longitudinal Patient Data)
• Applies statistical design and methodology to meet client information needs using tools like SAS, Python, SQL or R, conducts statistical analyses to derive conclusions from the data and assists in preparing final deliveries to clients.
• Understands pathology/patient management, establishes a link between data analysis and evidence generation
• Works as part of a team in preparing analysis plans and reports and performs validation of patient level data analysis.
• Support in concept design and development of innovative processes and approaches
• Work in cross-functional projects with high interaction with other company areas, building 360º solutions for our clients and developing deep knowledge in commercial and clinical strategy research in the real world human data of life science industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, Computer Science or related discipline and experience in analyzing healthcare data preferred
• Advanced script writing in tools like SAS, Python, SQL or R
• Experience in manipulating and handling Big Data.

• Knowledge of healthcare patient-level data, pharmaceutical market, any experience with pharmaceutical data would be a plus
• Demonstrates consulting, creativity, critical thinking, project planning, and attention to detail capabilities.
• A proactive, innovative and pragmatic approach to problem solving and an ability to think critically and independently.
• Flexible and adaptable in a client focused, results driven environment
• Fluent in English.
